Description of problem: I have a brand new laptop with Windows 8, and I've generated a UEFI image on a USB stick, and those work perfectly. However, when I install to disk no bootloader appears to get installed anywhere. When I choose grub-legacy, I get a box telling me to reboot the computer. It reboots but I end up with the original windows bootloader. I get an error with grub2, but I've been able to work around that by installing the new grub2 rpms from cauldron. When that happens I get the same behavior, install goes to the end, machine reboots, no evidence that any bootloader is installed. I've looked in the partitions that the installer creates, and Mageia gets installed correctly in the hard disk. However looking in the EFI partition, I don't see anything being installed. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run live iso on a new UEFI 2. Install to disk 3. Marking as critical since Mageia does not install. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
