Hi Team Mageia, The asus_wmi module doesn't permit to activate/desactivate the backlit keyboard. On Ubuntu 13.04, I have tested, it works (with kernel 3.8.0) It never work on Mageia Cauldron since Alphas, Betas... Thanks Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

I tested on Ubuntu : It works (Unity Desktop) But, on the same ubuntu with KDE, (apt-get install kubuntu-desktop) : It not works.... It's a problem with KDE ?

I just try Mageia 3 Live DVD GNOME. Shortcuts (Fn+F2 and Fn+F3) works perfectly. It's a KDE problem !!!
