Please attach (not paste) the output of lspcidrake -v.
eg the hw.txt file resulting from running the following command:
lspcidrake -v > /tmp/hw.txt

Hello,

My TP-Link USB WLAN (TL-WN821N) is being detected as scanner too, and not as an Ethernetcard. My problem is on MGA 64bit.

MGA4 RC:
WIFI : NETGEAR WNA|WNA1100

MGA4 RC 64bits just installed : no problem for wifi ( or reboot )
BUT :
sudently no more WIFI :
lspcidrake -v. say :
unknown : NETGEAR WNA|WNA1100 (vendor : 0846 device : 9030)

On a old cauldron (other disk) :
lspcidrake -v. say :
ath9k_htc : NETGEAR WNA|WNA1100 (vendor : 0846 device : 9030)
and WIFI work

I load on Mageia4 RC :
kernel-firware-nonfree
reboot
then wifi on mageia4 RC can work !
