Description of problem: The following message shows up on the command line every time the enter key is depressed if certain environment variables aren't set: Unable to get Terminal Size. The TIOCGWINSZ ioctl didn't work. The COLUMNS and LINES environment variables didn't work. The resize program didn't work. at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.14.0/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/Term/ReadKey.pm line 362. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.1.0 How reproducible: Any system missing the environment variables necessary for Term::Readkey Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install git-info-bar 2. Log out and back in if on a tty or close and reopen console in an X session. 3. The message is immediately seen on some systems (including Mageia). Reconciliation: https://github.com/comwt/git-info-bar has been updated (tag 1.1.7) SHA: 3a00a2a Also, a new RPM, git-info-bar-1.1.7-1.noarch.rpm, has been created and uploaded to sourceforge.net. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:
probably not a good idea to use my noarch.rpm, it saves the plugin as /etc/profile.d/z99-git-info-bar.sh (whereas your .spec saves it as 93git-info-bar.sh).

The package has been upgraded in cauldron. I can't reproduce the issue on mageia 3, even after volontarily unsetting COLUMNS and LINES environment variables. I suspect the problems comes from your environment.
