Description of problem: If you play m2t (MPEG2 stream) video files in Totem in a window, it plays the video as expected. If you click to full-screen the video, the video plays back as a lot of vertical lines. No such problem in Mandriva 2010.1. There is no problem with playback of video for mpeg1, FLV, m2v, avi (different codecs), ONLY m2t. Have tested with VLC, and it has no problem with the m2t format. Tested on EEE-PC, mobile 945GME Express integrated graphics controller (Intel) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Totem Movie Player, 2.32.0 How reproducible: Play back a .m2t MPEG2 video stream using Totem video player.

Despite the recent CODEC updates pushed out, Totem still appears to show full-screen m2t videos with bars (as shown in comment1 attachment). Actually, further checking reveals that the m2t full-screen problem only seems to affect files that are anamorphic, recorded from TV say 720x576 (PAL) but is supposed to auto-stretch to something like 1024x576 (16x9 PAL). I tested a regular 4x3 TV video capture full screen, and it did not do the funny bars on screen just normal picture. But ALL clips that are anamorphic PAL displayed the strange bars. So it looks like there is a problem in how the video is being resized to fit into the netbook screen.

Sorry for not replying sooner, dealing with issues on another machine and Mageia2. The specific problem of Totem not displaying full screen video appears to have been solved with the installation of Mageia 2, so am closing with a "fixed" tag.
