Description of problem: Testing the install / upgrade method from Mandriva 2010.1 to Mageia. When you start the computer, the boot splash screen shows Mandriva background instead of Mageia, but menu options, ie, different Mageia Kernels are displayed correctly. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Beta1 install of Mageia1 How reproducible: Install Mageia on top of Mandriva 2010.1 (like migrating Windows users might try).

Probably a theme switch has to be done during the upgrade (from Mandriva-Free/One/Pwp/Flash -> Mageia-Default). The are elements form the Mageia theme (like the timer, the config file, ...) but at least the background is still the old one. Regards, TeaAge

Hum, I upgraded from Mandriva 2010.2 to Mageia 1 final, and the bootsplash is correct. Maybe the problem has been fixed since Beta 1?
