Description Milan Baša 2013-04-10 16:50:42 CEST
Description of problem:
I have set in MCC/System/Localisation Language: Slovak, Country: Slovakia
and Applications Launcher/Tools/Regional Settings/ Language: Slovak, Country: Slovakia.
In System Settings/Locale/ tab Numbers Is Digit-Set set to Arabic
but this is not true.
No matter what is there written, the Digit-set looks like Arabic-Indic or Eastern Arabic-Indic with special characters for numbers.

Changing (but only through) Applications Launcher/Tools/Regional Settings/ to Language: American English will fix this, but then I have mixed locales (sk/us).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
drakxtools-15.37-1.mga3

Oops sorry.
Not language have to be changed, but country to United Sates. Language will stay Slovak. And now Digit-set is Arabic - that´s OK, and locale are mismatched sk/us.

$locale
LANG=sk_SK
LC_CTYPE=sk_SK
LC_NUMERIC=en_US
LC_TIME=sk_SK
LC_COLLATE=sk_SK
LC_MONETARY=en_US
LC_MESSAGES=sk_SK
LC_PAPER=en_US
LC_NAME=en_US
LC_ADDRESS=en_US
LC_TELEPHONE=en_US
LC_MEASUREMENT=en_US
LC_IDENTIFICATION=en_US
LC_ALL=

Comment 4 Dušan Pavlík 2013-05-04 17:09:23 CEST
I have same problem in mag2 (full updated) and mag3 in vbox

LANG=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_TIME=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_COLLATE=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_MESSAGES=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_PAPER=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_NAME=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_ADDRESS=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_TELEPHONE=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_MEASUREMENT=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_IDENTIFICATION=sk_SK.UTF-8
LC_ALL=

As you see locale is OK.
Configure system(in KDE config)-->Lokalize-->numbers, money, date - if I change in this configure on Arabic don't change anything.

Is this bug still present in Mageia 4 and Mageia 5RC?
