Description of problem: When the root partition is too small(I use 4.1GB), KDE is not installed after selecting it during installation, without prompting any info about disk size. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia-3-beta4-i586-DVD.iso How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot Mageia-3-beta4-i586-DVD 2.Set root partition to 4GB 3.Select KDE at the desktop select screen. (Note that nothing happens(!) even though your partition is too small for KDE) 4.During installing packages, click "Details" button. 5.No kde packages is installed. Additional note: If select Custom at the desktop select screen, then select KDE and other components, another page will be prompt to inform that disk size is too small for installation. Suggest to add the disk size warning after desktop selection and return to custom package selection page. Reproducible: Steps to Reproduce:

Strange, we should log the absence of choice due to small space when it's not an upgrade
Still able to reproduce in Mageia 8. Test using VirtualBox.
