Description Speyer S 2013-03-30 21:43:35 CET
The active tile in Sudoku is dark grey or black so the number entered cannot be seen until another tile is clicked on.

The game is gnome-sudoku,
and the current version with problem is
 gnome-sudoku-3.10.2-1.mga4.src.rpm

The problem has been present for quite a while.
I think it started with gnome3 and its' tablet mode.
(The default theme became white-on-black instead of black-on-white.)

I spent a little time a while back trying to debug it myself without success.
The program must be explicitly painting the black background instead of relying on the theme. If in tracking mode, the text is not black, and thus visible on the black background.

Is this bug still valid in fully updated Mageia 5, 6 or Cauldron?

Not with mga6 64bit, on the Mate desktop. I just installed it to check.
I stopped using it a long time ago.
I think it was fixed quite a while back, on mga5 (32bit) or before.

I'll mark it resolved / worksforme. If anyone still sees the problem, please reopen giving info about your desktop / themes, etc
