Description of problem: Testing 3beta4, dual CD, 64-bit - tried install selecting "Other Desktops" only but then couldn't reboot into graphical desktop. During installation process a screen appears saying that xdm needs to be installed and does the user want to do this, but there are no "yes" or "no" buttons, only "Next" or "Previous". I selected "Next" assuming that would cause xdm to be installed, but presumably that isn't the case. If xdm is needed, shouldn't it be installed automatically? There is nothing to tell the user that they have to leave LXDE selected and choose "Other Desktops" in addition to it. xdm is missing in the iso, or we have to change the rpmsrate (but changing to lxdm could break other dependancies..) or add it in the iso

Created attachment 3787 [details] screen display when "quiet" removed
I still can't get it to work :( This is what came up when I removed the word "quiet" before I tried again. Carolyn
This is not fixed in the RC isos. It was fixed after.
Oops, forgot to remove "splash" as well. When I did that, the lines of text scrolled by too fast for me to find what I wanted and make a screenshot, I'll try again. Carolyn
This was from the actual released RC iso, you mean it wasn't fixed there either? That's OK then, if that's the case. Carolyn
Yes fix happened after RC release. Closing it then
