Description of problem: - Occurs since serveral weeks. - after a while, the Gnome3 session locks automatically - I see a screen with date/clock etc, wich is full-screen - pressing ESC to get to the login form. Here, the screen is not full-screen anymore. The screen has grey areas on the left and right side, and it seems to be "compressed" in axial direction. The display is a wide-screen laptop (16:10 ratio, I guess), but the used area is 4:3 only. On top on this screen, there is this black panel from the Gnome Shell. This panel still spans the full width of the screen. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
