Description AL13N 2011-04-22 18:16:28 CEST
Description of problem:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install mageia beta 2 from DVD with LXDE in a KVM
2. login to LXDE
3. start LXTerminal
4. you see LXTerminal moving displayed, then moving down ~50px; then redrawing the whole of LXDE, then moving down ~50px; again; etc...

indefinately, this makes LXDE unusable, because the LXTerminal is out of view, and it doesn't stop... so you can't use the bottom bar, and menu, because it's constantly being redrawn...
Comment 1 AL13N 2011-04-22 21:36:56 CEST
not limited to this app, but all apps in LXDE

.xsession-errors is full of the following two lines:

ObRender-ERROR **: Your bit depth is currently unhandled

aborting...
Comment 4 Pascal Terjan 2011-05-03 00:35:38 CEST
Setting DefaultColorDepth to 16 instead of 24 "fixes" it

Summary: LXTerminal moves gradually downward by itself => Windows move gradually downward when using 24 bit visual
