local iso qa Mageia-3-beta3-x86_64-DVD.iso match 36ff3dfaa8812e597ec32ff1b7d98e4f ennael, tmb, dmorgan, someone of you pushed isos on mirrors ?

I updated the downloads list a few minutes ago, with checksums taken from http://mirrors.mageia.org/mirrors/ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de mirror (not having an access to bcd.m.o source listing).

(In reply to Romain d'Alverny from comment #3) > I updated the downloads list a few minutes ago, with checksums taken from If checksums are the only thing being updated, then it is a waste of time as far as I am concerned since hard drive install fails.
Romain updated http://svnweb.mageia.org/web/www/trunk/en/downloads/get/definitions.ini?view=log which is shown in the download page and which read .md5 from mirrors but indeed only admin can check .iso
The "updated" checksum matches the checksum on the mirrors earlier (starts out 36ff3... for Mageia-3-beta3-x86_64-DVD.iso). The dvd ISOs downloaded from mirrors.kernel.org (ftp) and and from http://mirrors.mageia.org/mirrors/ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de (http) have 4038656000 bytes and an md5sum that starts 0f65c...

In my opinion, this md5sum type problem should not show up. There should be a script to migrate the files to the public side mirror then verifies the sums on each iso are correct on that mirror.

Problem has been fixed in primary mirror now. Just needs some time to sync on all mirrors.
Downloaded new iso, original md5checksum file, says it is good. doing a hard disk install as I type. Thank you for all your time.
