Description Perilio Castrol 2013-03-12 14:20:32 CET
Description of problem:
When the firewall is activated, if you open drakfirewall and Cancel the wizard, the next time you open drakfirewall, the firewall will appear disabled.

If I run drakfirewall from a console insted of the Control Center, I get the following output once I complete the configuration (I'm not sure if it is related to the bug):
Note: This output shows SysV services only and does not include native
systemd services. SysV configuration data might be overridden by native
      systemd configuration.

It happens on a fresh installation of Mageia 3 beta 3.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable the firewall using drakfirewall
2. Open drakfirewall again. It is shown as activated.
3. Now click Cancel
4. Open again drakfirewall and it will appear as not activated.

Reproducible:

probably a duplicate, can you try https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9329#c2 ?

I've made the change and the behaviour is the opposite: If I cancel the wizard the next time I open drakfirewall it is shown as activated, and if I finish the wizard the next time I open drakfirewall it is shown as disabled.

with what for previous stage ? and with what for status of shorewall ?

If the firewall is enabled and I cancel the wizard, although the next time I open the wizard I see it as disabled, shorewall is still actually enabled.

So it seems to me that the service is starting and stopping properly and it is a problem with the GUI not showing the correct status of shorewall.
