Description of problem:
Installer not present an option to upgrade or perform fresh install. It does not seem to matter whether the install is selected from the boot menu or from the live system.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia-3-beta3-LiveDVD-KDE4-i586-DVD (and possibly others?)

How reproducible:
Very

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Boot Mageia-3-beta3-i586-DVD on previously installed and stable mageia2 PC
2.  Attempt to upgrade to M3 from either boot menu or from live system

You were using a Live DVD not the full installer DVD.

You cannot upgrade using a Live disk - never have been able to.
