Description Yves Tordjman 2011-04-22 00:28:17 CEST
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Mageia Beta 1 installed from boot.iso 64 bit and http server paris jussieu installed on virtualbox 4.0.4

How reproducible:
Every time you start in runlevel 5 or in runlevel 3 using the startx command

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Perform the standard installation and choose KDE as the Graphical interface
2.At the summary step try to configure the graphical interface and test it. I got a black screen and you cannot do anything else
3.Perform the installation again but do not configure the graphical interface. The installation is completed successfully. When the system restarts you get the standard X login frame and not kde when entering login and password, you get again a black screen
4. Reboot the machine in failsafe
5. Edit /etc/inittab and change runlevel from 5 to 3
6. Reboot the VM
7. Connect as root
8. Run the command startx
9. The graphical interface fails to start and you get the following error message
(EE) AIGLX error vboxvideo does not export required DRI extension
(EE) AIGLX reverting to software rendering
(EE) VirtualBox USB Tablet: failed to initialize for relative axes
