Description Morgan Leijström 2013-03-05 23:16:22 CET
Uncompressed dmg images can be mounted by the mount command.

But to read *compressed* dmg images we need this tool.

Tool is from here: http://vu1tur.eu.org/tools/
http://sophie.zarb.org/rpms/4c40cb2c214388d3b26f3e3ddc72a002

HOWTO: https://viaforensics.com/iphone-forensics/mount-dmg-file-mac-disk-image-linux-2.html (or elswhere on the net...)

I complied dmg2img-1.6.4 locally on this mga1-64 system:
I only needed to install package lib64bzip2-devel (it wanted the file bzlib.h)
Then in the unpacked dmg2img-1.6.4 folder I issued make
Then as root: make install
And it worked.
