Description Alejandro Vargas 2013-03-01 10:22:09 CET
Start X11 at system startup is unchecked by default in mageia control center.

An unexpert user could change his x server config and when he saves the data, x does not start again because the option of starting x windows at startup is unchecked by default.

Hi Alejandro,

Thanks for your report. Sorry that we didn't reply to it before, we are short on active bugsquad members :-(
If you're interested in becoming a part of the team: you're very welcome!

The problem doesn't exist anymore, I just checked current cauldron and Mageia 3. When I change my card from "Intel 810 and later" to the Intel or Vesa one from Xorg, the box before "automatically start the graphical interface (Xorg) upon booting" is ticked :-)

So closing as fixed, feel free to reopen with an explanation, if needed.
