Description of problem: Very often the main toolbar (at the bottom of the screen, by default) freezes: no button gives any answer any more, while launching the applications from a terminal of from Dolphin works. Very often means most days, usually several times a day. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lib64plasma3 Epoch : 2 Version : 4.8.5 Release : 1.6.mga2 How reproducible: Very often, on 2 computers (on one much more often than on the other one), in at least 2 different accounts used by 2 different users. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn on the computer. 2. Work a while. 3. Suddenly, the toolbar doesn't work anymore. Since I don't know to logout from a terminal, the only workaround are + to launch the applications from a terminal or from Dolphin, + or to restart Mageia. Maybe not so common configuration (I don't know if this can have an influence): we use NFS and autofs extensively, as well as 2 ou 3 keyboard layouts (French + Cyrillic Mongolian, or American English + Cyrillic Mongolian), and the right Win key as layout switch. Possibly same as i have I am not sure it ever trigged for me during use, but sometimes after returning from sleep. I suspect there is a problem with NFS that locks up "everything". See in bug 8807 if you can recognise symptoms, and how the workaround https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8807#c5 works. Else see if it helps using kernel 3.3.8 or earlier.
