Description of problem:
In KDE, I open "system settings". I select "Display and Monitor". after, if I click on "Gamma" then Xorg crash. KDE is closed and return to gdm.

My computer is a laptop with Nvidia Optimus. Xord has loaded driver "intel" and "nouveau".
I have core, nonfree and core 32 bits media activated.

I have update my mageia3. I have always the crash. The xorg.log has joined.

Could you reports upstream on http://bugzilla.freedesktop.org/?
Can you try to get a gdb backtrace (eg: attaching to X server using ssh from another machine)
