Hi,

I suggest Mageia implemented some sort of bug squashing bounty where people, organisations or companies could contribute financially to have bugs resolved faster and due time by direct payment to the maintainer, via paypal or by other means.

The entity contributing financially, if they so desire could be listed in some official "thank you" page or elsewhere in release notes, or what have you.

iirc, it was a draft at the time, don't know if it's been approved or not, maybe this could be spoken about in a council meeting (or maybe it already did), i remember some emails on the -dev ML about this.
