Description Oden Eriksson 2013-02-13 10:05:57 CET
The dkms-dahdi package fails to build.

# grep "asm/system.h" /var/lib/dkms/dahdi/2.6.0-1.mga2/build/make.log
/var/lib/dkms/dahdi/2.6.0-1.mga2/build/drivers/dahdi/wcb4xxp/base.c:38:46: fatal error: asm/system.h: No such file or directory

The dkms-dahdi-2.6.1-1.mga2 package in updates_testing fixes this.

Additional fixes has to be done in the package in cauldron (same version) as it barfs at:

asm/system.h is in the linux kernel headers, isn't it?

Thanks Pascal, fixed in cauldron now.
Comment 4 Oden Eriksson 2013-02-13 18:34:51 CET
Eh, it's fixed when someone submit dahdi in cauldron.

if you don't mail mageia-dev@ nobody will submit it...
Comment 6 Oden Eriksson 2013-02-15 13:18:38 CET
dahdi-2.6.1-2.mga3 was submitted to cauldron.
Comment 7 Manuel Hiebel 2013-02-15 22:12:18 CET

Comment 8 Samuel Verschelde 2013-08-29 15:19:52 CEST
There is an update candidate for that in updates_testing but the bug report was not given to QA so that an update candidate can be issued. Any reason for that?

Comment 9 Manuel Hiebel 2013-11-22 23:02:09 CET
Mageia 2 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on ''22 November''. Mageia 2 is no
longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or
bug fix updates. As a result, as this bug should be fixed in mga3, an as this update was validated we are closing it.
