Description Stephen Pettin 2013-02-12 13:10:04 CET
Description of problem:
When running fsarchiver to start a partition backup of a different partition. I backup to an external hard drive and everything is going good but then received the system crash screen message.

I was backing up /dev/sda1 to an external usb hard drive. Mga3, Gnome3 is on /dev/sda5.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Gnome 3.6 I think. It should be the latest version available.

The system will lock and I wasn't able to logout. I had to press the power button on the box to reboot. It looked like the backup continued to run, I could see both ext. hd and internal hd lights blinking, so I made sure it had time to finish. Looking at the finished backup archive files, I believe it's okay.

I have been running KDE 4 for a few weeks and haven't had it happen using KDE. It seems only when using Gnome 3.

Thnx.
