On alt.os.linux.mageia, we had a 62-year-old newbie who couldn't see the hollow arrowheads in rpmdrake until I had pointed them out twice. He believes that clicking on the main heading should make the submenu open automatically. I tend to agree. At the very least, the hollow arrowheads could be replaced with filled ones. That would involve no more than changing a graphic. As the population ages (I am 70) and as more of the population grew up with computers (I didn't) user friendliness has become more important.

Looks as though the whole issue is a theme issue. I created a bug only because the original complainer couldn't. Personally, I use rpmdrake all the time and have no problems.
