OpenSuSE has issued an advisory on February 4:

They have a patch to fix the issue.

Virtualbox 4.1 (Mageia 2) and 4.2 (Cauldron) are affected.

This is already fixed in virtualbox-4.1.24 in mga2 updates and in 4.2.6 in Cauldron
