Description Steve Havelka 2013-02-04 23:59:02 CET
Description of problem:

Under Windowmaker, Networkmanager doesn't have permission to connect to a wifi network. I started off with KDE (installed from the live cd) on this computer, and then installed Windowmaker. After booting into WM the first time, I saw that NetworkManager couldn't see or access any of the wifi networks. I loaded Netapplet and checked the box, "allow this interface to be managed by NetworkManager". Then, NetworkManager could see the list of active Wifi networks, but when I go to select any network, it fails and displays the error:

"Failed to add/activate connection. (32) Insufficient privileges."
