Description Béat E 2013-01-27 08:54:07 CET
I made a fresh install of Mageia 3 Beta 2 and installed Anki. Anki is a learning software (flashcards). I can't start Anki. When I start Anki in the console I get these messages.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/anki", line 14, in <module>
    import anki, aqt
  File "/usr/share/anki/libanki/anki/__init__.py", line 32, in <module>
    from anki.storage import Collection
  File "/usr/share/anki/libanki/anki/storage.py", line 7, in <module>
    from anki.utils import intTime, ids2str, json
  File "/usr/share/anki/libanki/anki/utils.py", line 5, in <module>
    import re, os, random, time, types, math, htmlentitydefs, subprocess, \
ImportError: No module named httplib2

Could you please take care that this gets fixed so that Anki works again.

Thanks and best regards,
Béat

PS. Right now there is Anki 2.0.3 in cauldron. In the meantime the version 2.0.6 came out (see http://ankisrs.net/anki2.html). Maybe the newer version solves the problem.

I installed Mageia 3 Beta 4. Anki still doesn't work because it is still version 2.0.3. Please update it to the latest version (see http://ankisrs.net/anki2.html). Thanks.

Hi,
I made an full update on my cauldron install today. It installed Anki 2.0.3-4.mga3. Anki still doesn't start and there are the same message like before. Where can I download Anki 2.0.8 in order to test that version?

Hi,
http://ankisrs.net/anki2.html download Source, unpack it and in konsole ./runanki (I think, but I am not at home for now), until
this problem will not be solved.

Hi Milan,
Thanks for the hint. I use the source now. :) But I still hope that Mageia fixes this bug (and moves to the version 2.0.8 too).
