I'm not sure how to assign this bug. Installed 3beta2 Gnome LiveCD to hdd. Rebooting the installed system asks for root authentication as other users are logged in, but 'who' shows only my user. I had previously logged into xguest then logged out and logged in to my user. After rebooting the installed system it auto logs into my user and has the cursor in top left corner so menu's open. If I then log out I'm unable to log into xguest and attempting to do so locks the user choice to "Guest Account" in gdm so either a restart from icon at the top or switch VT is needed.

Gnome installed from the installer dvd which does not install xguest by default doesn't have this problem.
Yesh, I'll drop xguest from live medias atleast for now until we figure out how to handle it...
btw, on mga2 we remove xguest 2 days before the release because qa saw this was a mess (and iirc there is still some opened bugs)
I'm not sure if it's removed or just not enabled/installed by default. The selection is still there in the installer to enable guest account, it's just not ticked.
yep it's enable as default, but as the rpm it's not here you can't select it $ grep xguest /media/data/iso/test/Mageia-3-beta2-*/*.idx $
no more xguest
