AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)". Clicking Refresh does not make any difference. In contrast, the Gnome network manager does show the available wireless networks.

I can confirm this. No available wifi networks in netcenter. However wireless connection is working fine as it was configured before this issue appeared.
