Description of problem:

This kernel doesn't seem to detect the wifi in my Acer Aspire One netbook properly.  The device names are off/odd, and there's an extra wifi device detected that I can neither delete nor use.

Also, the "Network Center" crashes when I select it from MCC, if it's already been opened via the netapplet icon.

I'm attaching screenshots that illustrate the problems.

Only the hard-wired ethernet device has the right name here...

It looks like the same thing that's wrong in 7808 is wrong here, but I submitted that bug when the kernel was still in testing...

If there's anything I could do to help debug or fix this, please let me know.  I'd be happy to start looking if you can tell me where to start...
