Description salim salim 2013-01-11 11:27:01 CET
hello again

is this issue .... a mageia issue or vlc

anyway to make this report clear

here is the explanation

we always know there is two MAX point in the both of them

(( 100 % & 200 % ))

if i set pulseaudio sound volume to be at 100 %

and try to play any multimedia through vlc

there will be some of those mutimedia files that have a low sound quality

so .... i need to rise vlc sound volume to the second MAX volume in vlc

and if that happened .... pulseaudio settings will be overwrite by vlc

until now there is no complain about that

but ..... the big problem in this situation is if i close vlc window

then those new settings in pulseaudio will remain there

so can any one of our distro developer make a patch for that

to correct this thing after closing vlc window

===============

thanks

salim I think what you are experiencing is called Flat Volumes.

Please see bug 2575

If this is the case then it is intended but can be disabled if you wish.
