facter reports architecture => i386 instead of i586 as used in Mageia packages. I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design but thought it worth creating a bug report for.

This is by design.

Why?
For me this doesn't make sense.
Comment 3 Nicolas Vigier 2013-01-03 15:12:12 CET
architecture fact has nothing to do with rpm, so does not need to follow Mageia rpm conventions.
Comment 4 Johnny A. Solbu 2013-01-03 15:14:41 CET
Ok. Closing as wontfix then.
