Description Olivier Delaune 2012-12-28 01:08:06 CET
Hello, could you add gvfs-smb and gvfs-obexftp as suggestions (or a requirement packages) for the gigolo package? Indeed, gigolo works well without this two package but if they are install, there are two new options in gigolo: it can mount samba shares and obex shares. If you do not know gigolo, you do not know that you need to install these packages to manage samba and obex shares with gigolo.

Thanks in advance.

I lam looking at the Testing repositories and I do not see any gigolo package. Has the package been pushed also in 64-bits repos? I am not using 32-bits anymore but the problem is the same for both arch.
Comment 4 Juan Luis Baptiste 2013-04-02 18:52:15 CEST
It isn't on the testing repos, it's on core/release.
Comment 5 Olivier Delaune 2013-04-02 18:59:07 CEST
Ok, so I do not see the "new" package. I still have gigolo-0.4.1-3 on Mageia 2 64-bits.
Comment 6 Olivier Delaune 2013-04-02 18:59:53 CEST
In fact, the precise name of the package that I get if I do "urpmi gigolo" is gigolo-0.4.1-3.mga1.x86_64
Comment 7 Juan Luis Baptiste 2013-04-02 19:06:07 CEST
Maybe you need to update your repositories, the package is already available on mirrors:

http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/core/release/gigolo-0.4.1-4.git20121225.3.mga3.x86_64.rpm
Comment 8 Olivier Delaune 2013-04-02 19:08:45 CEST
Ah I see that your link points to Cauldron repos. I do not have installed Cauldron yet. Could you pushed the package in the Testing repos of Mageia 2?

Comment 10 Olivier Delaune 2013-04-03 23:47:39 CEST
Ok, I tested it with Mageia 2 64-bits and it works correctly: gvfs-smb and gvs-obex are proposed if I install gigolo. Thanks
