Description Jiang Yike 2011-04-16 02:50:26 CEST
Description of problem:

If the package lib64alsa-plugins-pulseaudio and its dependencies are not installed, the volume of ASUS Xonar DX sound card will work properly. But if lib64alsa-plugins-pulseaudio and its dependencies are installed, the sound of ASUS Xonar DX will be much reduced at the same volume level, and there is almost no sound when the volume is below 40%. It is almost that 20% volume without lib64alsa-plugins-pulseaudio and its dependencies is equal to 50% volume with lib64alsa-plugins-pulseaudio and its dependencies.

I have returned the sound card. So I can't test it any more. I think that now it is better to close the bug report, and you can save time for solving other bugs. If someone meets such a problem, he can re-open it.
