(In reply to Sandro Cazzaniga from comment #3) > It's submitted in core/updates_testing in mageia 2. Can you test it please? Sorry, thought pings were for a different bug, and not in testing. Cloned an updated release 2 VirtualBox guest, enabled testing, updated fetchyahoo. result of my test works. $ cat fetchyahoo.log Logging in securely via SSL as junk_no_spam on Tue Mar 5 04:11:15 2013 Country code : us FetchYahoo! Awesome. Assigned to qa team for writing an advisory before pushing it in update/core.

Oh no you didn't :P When you do though, packager writes an advisory for QA Sandro. More info here: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Updates_policy#Maintainer_.28or_any_interested_packager.29
Advisory for the QA team: This new version of fetchyahoo has been pushed into cauldron and 2 core/update_testing. This version changelog: v2.14.9 12/06/12 * fix downloading html messages with plain/text alternative It's pushed and tested, it works as well.
You need to assign it as well Sandro (qa-bugs@ml.mageia.org) and list srpm/rpm's. It's still assigned to bugsquad. In QA we use full proper descriptions as they are sent to the updates mailing list and also go onto the wiki when they are pushed. We need the srpm for sysadmins and the rpms so we in QA know which packages need testing. It probably seems like alot of information needed but there are reasons for it :)

The rpm is: fetchyahoo-2.14.9-1.mga3 :)
Testing complete on Mageia 2 i586 and x86_64. Could someone from the sysadmin team push the srpm fetchyahoo-2.14.9-1.mga2.src.rpm from Mageia 2 Core Updates Testing to Core Updates. Advisory: Updated fetchyahoo package fixes downloading html messages with plain text alternative. rpm package: fetchyahoo-2.14.9-1.mga2 https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8374
