Description of problem: Testing live KDE CD, tested what would happen if I tried to access a partition with another OS on it (in this case Kororaa) via Dolphin. In live mode, a message flashed up and then vanished, looked as if it was about authentication being required but it didn't stay long enough to act on it. After installation, trying the same thing, the authentication message appeared and stayed, so I put in my root password and was then able to view the directories on the Kororaa partition, tried to open the /home/carolyn one but couldn't. Another error message flashed up and immediately vanished followed by one about "directory loading cancelled" which did stay on the screen. Presumably the first message contains the details that a user would need in order to work out what to do. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run live and installed sessions from live KDE CD 2. Attempt to open directories on another partition with a different OS 3.
