Description of problem: On testing beta 1 on my old HP laptop, when I went to turn off the machine altogether and clicked "Turn off computer" I had a sub-menu come up with the options "Suspend to RAM" or "Suspend to disk". I didn't want to do either and couldn't see how to get rid of the menu, so I had to wait while the seconds were counted down until turn-off. I've since found a tiny green arrow or triangle which can be clicked to get rid of the suspend menu, but it's not very obvious. Is it possible for it to be made bigger or for an additional item to be added to the menu saying "turn off without suspending" or something like that which would be easier to see? This was following an install from the live KDE CD. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run a beta 1 session 2. Turn off laptop 3.
Whiteboard: (none) => 3beta1
Now testing beta3 in a VM on my PC and get the suspend to disk option when I try to turn off, but can't get rid of it at all by clicking on anything, I have to wait for the countdown.
Summary: Not obvious how to by-pass suspend menu on turning off laptop => Not obvious how to by-pass suspend menu on turning off computerWhiteboard: 3beta1 => 3beta1 3beta3
Testing 3beta4 and I've found I can get rid of it by clicking on the actual words "turn off computer" rather than on the icon. It's not very intuitive, though.
Whiteboard: 3beta1 3beta3 => 3beta1 3beta3 3beta4
With the latest beta4 build, two options appear. I think they're Restart and Suspend to Disk, but the words overlap.
