I think this is probably soprano-plugin-virtuoso missing. I'll check after an install. There is a notification on boot about Sementic Data Storage - Nepomuk Semantic Desktop needs the Virtuoso RDF server to store its data. Installing the Virtuoso Soprano plugin is mandatory for using Nepmuk. Noticed with kde livecd but has also been reported for the livedvd.

Confirmed after installing Installing soprano-plugin-virtuoso cures it and brings in some others requires.. virtuoso-opensource libiodbc2 soprano soprano-plugin-common soprano-plugin-virtuoso
is it possible to have the list of package on the kde live cd ?
Created attachment 3225 [details] the list
kactivitymanagerd-nepomuk-plugin-4.9.80-1.mga3 is installed when it should not Is certainly the one pulling this problem. I added the missing requires on nepomuk-core for soprano-plugin-virtuoso. However the generation of the live kde should ignore nepomuk stuff (for space usage).
Thomas please see comment 5 Thanks!

well, nepomuk stuff would atleast fit on liveDVDs, but I wonder if it will make the live session slower to the point of unbearable on underpowered systems that otherwise would cope with the media...
Well the fact is that nepomuk is more & more intricated in kde( so we'll get soon to the time when we won't be able to use kde without nepomuk).
ok, will disable all kde "space saving blockers" and see where we end up :)
