Description of problem: During install, one of the very first screens is text-based and has a blue line across the top, and a blue line across the bottom, with the rest of the screen black. The two blue lines display text. The top blue line always displays a "Welcome to Mageia release..." message with an exact example being: "Welcome to Mageia release 3, Oct 2 2012 14:14:54". This date has never seemed correct or correlative to the date of build. For example the exact example above is from a M3 A3 release which was built long after the date it displays. To make it worse, there is an extra space after "Oct" which should not be there, and there should be a comma after the day number, which in the example above is the number "2". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 3 Alpha 3 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start the M3 A3 Installer from any media. 2. When the text-based screen with a blue line across the top and bottom appears view the date in the top blue line.
ISO build date is different from stage1 build date

Thierry: As always, thanks for the info. If it's not right or leaves the user wondering what the heck that date means, then I maintain its wrong. If its a real date that has meaning enough to be visible to all users than either: a) it needs to be correct or at least seem plausible, or b) text needs to be added to the line to explain why this seemingly arbitrary date is being displayed. Thanks Jeffrey Bruton

1) user don't wonder about this date 2) anyway it is rebuild 1/2 days before the final release so date is always correct for a stable release.
