The video card is ATI Radeon RV250 [mobility FireGL 9000 During the installation, the system said that the driver was not available because non free mirrors were not set up. At the end of the installation, the system reboots. The graphic mode which is the default, gives a locked screen. Only magic keys (Alt Sys [reisb]) allow to go out. It is then very difficult to go out of this. I had to boot in single user, to edit the file urpmi.cfg because rpmdrake is not available in this mode, to start drakex11 and to test different configurations which lock the screen. The only way out is to use the frame buffer. After N reboot, I had LXDE working and it was possible to use MCC to update the system with Radeon HD 4870 and earlier working. Conclusion : If the video driver cannot be loaded, it is necessary to fall back to fbdev.

Note than beta1 should enable you to enable firmwares for graphic cards

not sure about that at least in local media as dual iso is already full
Then, if the graphic driver is not found, the best fallback is the frame buffer which is used during the installation.
I can confirm that this also happens to me with a Radeon 3870x2. I find the process of dropping to a command line, editing urpmi.cfg, enabling non-free, then picking fglrx as the driver as a trivial annoyance, but new users would likely quit the distro at this point.

Dual size is much too low to have all the non free drivers. We have just added network one to allow user to enable nonfree remote repository. It's now working well.
