Description Pierre Jarillon 2012-11-29 15:09:38 CET
Description of problem:

Type 33.1 + (or any other operation) it displays nan (not a number).
I guess that it is a problem of locale french because dot is displayed comma. And 33,1 is not a number with english convention.

I confirm: $ LC_NUMERIC=C kcalc works fine.
kcalc cannot work with LC_NUMERIC=fr_FR.UTF-8

@Pierre, thank you for your report

@neoclust: Is this something you can look at? I did a quick google, but did not find an upstream bug report for this right away.

Not completely fixed. Please, look at Bug 8603

kcal cannot use its constants when decimal separator is not a dot.
