Description Joseph Wang 2012-11-23 20:40:05 CET
Description of problem:

gnome-session packages gnome-session-check-accelerated in /usr/lib64. However, gnome-session expects to find it in /usr/libexec

This causes failures when loading a session with the --session argument

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

I ran into this problem with trying to get cinnamon working in mageia.

The problem is that gnome-session runs halfway but can't find /usr/libexec/gnome-session-check-accelerated and fails. Linking /usr/libexec with /usr/lib64 fixes the problem, but it would be better to have gnome-session run things in a consistent place

Marking own bug as invalid. The behavior is due to the session manager which can be fixed in the source rpm.
