Description of problem: 2x Intel 128 GB SSD in RAID-0. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 2 full release x86-64 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start USB 2.Enter Language, accept license agreement 3.prompt - " I cannot read the partition table of device mapper/nvidia_gdfadagc,it's too corrupted for me :( I can try to go on, erasing over bad partitions (ALL DATA will be lost!). The other solution is to not allow Drakx to modify the partition table. (the rror is bad dmraid (missing partition mapper/nvidia_gdfadagcp1), you may try rebooting install with option "nodmraid". ) Do you agree to lose all the partitions?" 4. Select No 5. Infinite loop at "I cannot find room for installing" requiring reboot Thank you very much, Anton Relin

Sorry, my system did not reference nodmraid or Nvidia.
as the installer for mageia2 will not be changed anymore, maybe you can try the alpha3 of mageia3 ?
I attempted to use the new Alpha 3 spin, but the installer looked as if it had not changed, let alone, fix my errors. I was really glad to see a Mandriva x86_64 derivative do so well, but I am not sure it will install. I might just have to switch back to Mandriva or migrate to OpenSuse.
Target Milestone: --- => Mageia 3Summary: Mageia fails to see empty partition. Probably RAID-0 problem => Mageia fails to see empty partition. (BIOS RAID 0)

Should have been NEEDINFO. Now is OLD. If anyone finds this again - on an off chance - please reopen / report new with current latest installer (older installers than current will not be fixed).
