Description Jiang Yike 2011-04-13 15:51:06 CEST
Description of problem:

Xonar DX is a 7.1-channels sound card of ASUS. If the sound card is connected with audio jacks of the front panel, though no device is plugged into the output audio jack of the front panel, the Front output jack in the card's own panel can't work, and the output jack of the front panel is recognized as the Front output of the card.

It seems that the output audio jack of the front panel disables the Front output in the sound card's own panel. How to make the Front output in the sound card's own panel work when the card is connected with the front panel?

It's strange. After I uninstalled pulseaudio and some libraries of alsa and restarted the computer, the Front output of the sound card's panel work properly now.
