Description of problem: ffmpeg can now (since july 2012) use libfdk-aac that will replace libvo_aacenc It always need to be built in tainted for this (patent problem) When libfdk-aac is provided in Mageia its spec file will need to be modified : only one line to change in the spec file line 304 --enable-libfdk-aac instead of --enable-libvo_aacenc
Depends on: (none) => 7951Severity: normal => enhancement
The libfdk-aac license is a bit strange (vague), ffmpeg classifies it as incompatible with GPL(v3).

Assigning to ffmpeg maintainer Shlomi Fish, but that license issue needs to be sorted out first. If it's not good, we could just close the request as wontfix.

The licence problem seems to have been solved since fdk-aac is now in RpmFusion non-free for Fedora and in non-free for Debian and for Opensuse too
