Description of problem:

I would like to modify the default text editor.

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I right click on the icon
2. I click on "Properties"
3. I click on the icon "edit"
=> Nothing happens


Same thing if I go through the menu / Parameters

Text editor issue should be fixed in the next mageia-xfce-config-common-1-9.mga1, (you'll have to delete ~/.config/xfce4/panel/launcher-15/text-editor.desktop manually first).

I don't understand this part:

I just wanted to say that I configure via the main menu.

The update this morning solved the problem.
