Description robert marshall 2011-04-12 17:48:52 CEST
Description of problem:

In MCC / Software Management / Update your system if you untick a box on an rpm then select update, an update on the deselected rpm is still attempted (I'm having mirror problems and libreoffice won't upgrade so was attempting to work around problem)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Everytime

I'd expect the deselected rpm not to be installed (or attempt to be installed) dependencies permitting

I confirm.
After unistalling libreoffice (too many bugs, terrible) and install openoffice (now "open" again) the update for libreoffice is requested, which is A problem because rpmdrake needs to uninstall openoffice before proceeding to any update.
we can bypass this problem but it is dedious.
Thanks
