Description Maurice Batey 2012-10-23 20:24:04 CEST
Description of problem:

Excellent though samsung-tools is, it is lacking an essential component: the simulation of Fn+F4 to use an external monitor.

Without it, an external monitor cannot be used.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

samsung-tools-2.1-5.mga2.src.rpm
  N.B. Also applies to Mageia-3-Alpha2

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run samsung-tools.
2. Find no function to emulate Fn+F4: Use of external monitor
3.

As this request is not a bug but rather a feature, and does not involve Mageia (we update packages in stable releases only for bugfixes), I'm closing this bug report with INVALID status. It does not mean that your need is not real, but that it's not Mageia who can fix your issue.

Regards.
