When one installs a lot of packages (typically when updating the system), there is only a progress bar for the currently installed package, not for the whole install process. So one has no way to know if the process is near from its end or if there is still a lot of time to wait.
A global progress bar would be very helpful.

gurpmi2 works with two bars, so maybe that easy to do no ?

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Would it be possible that this is done for Mageia 3 ?
Or at least, as a temporary workaround,
that <number of downloaded packages> / <total number to download> 
is displayed during packages download (like it is during packages install)
