I just upgraded rpmdrake to 5.38 in Cauldron, and now when it proposed to ugprade installed packages, the version of the currently installed packaged is not shown anymore. Instead, it says that the package isn't installed yet, which is obviously wrong, else it wouldn't list the package to upgrade it.
Created attachment 2938 [details] rpmdrake screenshot I added Thierry Vignaud to the CC list (hope he won't mind). I think that only the packages that cannot be removed without breaking the system are wrongly displayed. In the screenshot, the first and the third package lack the tick, although they are installed.

Wrong. Ticking them would mean deinstalling them which is prevented since they're needed by base system As for kernels, we never displayed the installed version since technically there's none, as those are threated as different packages with different _names_ (kernel-2 vs kernel-3)

bodgan, your bug is more a oxygen-gtk theme bug as it's work with another one.
Please don't mark a bug as invalid because someone is making a comment unrelated to the bug. I'm not talking about ticking at all, I'm talking about the version being installed not displayed anymore when clicking "Details".

(In reply to comment #4) > Please don't mark a bug as invalid because someone is making a comment > unrelated to the bug. There is more likely the bug was set invalid because we failed to express with sufficient clarity what the problem is about. Sorry Frédéric, you are right about my inadequate comment, but that was not my intention, quite the opposite. The key words you added 'not displayed anymore when clicking "Details"' will probably put the issue into a form that's understandable to everyone. (In reply to comment #3) > bodgan, your bug is more a oxygen-gtk theme bug as it's work with another one. True, that's the point, except that the theme was Adwaita. Thus, changing the Gtk+ theme from Adwaita to something else will make the graphical glitch to disappear.
Care to put a screenshot about that issue (with a big circle in red)?

Created attachment 3203 [details] screenshot Here is the screenshot. You will note that "(none)" is displayed instead of the currently installed version.
